Sitting high on a ridge a few miles south of the AR-MO border, A&A is well-suited for fruit. Founded in 1979, A&A transitioned from a small nursery and stand of 20 farmed acres to today’s orchard-to-local market model of 12 acres of apples, nectarines, peaches, and pears. By accommodating the Ozarks’ temperament (rocky soil, wild temperature fluctuations, bugs galore), A&A delivers fruit of this place — hard-won and full of personality.
